This is Rachel B. as well......but the B is for Burstein. The Bursteins are the family who introduced us to our adoption agency Heartsent Adoptions, Inc. The Bursteins did not know that I had known since I was a little girl that my daughter would be named "Rachel" as well. When they first received Rachel she was 15 months old. She is currently 3 years old and one of the joys in my life. She loves to pose for the camera!! I have many pictures of her and will post the most current of them shortly. This picture was taken today while at a class given by our agency on "Babies in Hotels and Referral Day". This will be our third year to attend this very same class. Short of living it - we feel that we could teach it due to our loooong wait.

I am very blessed to have Raquel in my life. I have no doubt that she was and has been truly God sent. And her insides are just as attractive as her outsides. Kevin is her sweetie/boyfriend and as well - wonderful friend of mine and Tim's.........not hard on the eyes either - I call them Ken and Barbie :D Gigi (Raquel's oldest) is slightly older than my niece - Anna and they hang out together when Anna's in So Cal to visit Auntie and Unkie.

I asked (the way I usually ask) Tim for a place behind his planter wall for me to plant a garden. Two weeks later, the hauling by Tim via wheelbarrel of at least 8 yards of soil ammendment that was delivered to front of garage door, Moi raking it out, the planting of various herbs to cook with, and veggies and WHALLAH!!

Cato and Sable (fluffy and torte) love it outside. So do Mommy and Daddy. Christine (my god daughter's Mommy who lives directly behind us) is saying hello - isn't that convenient? The Wisteria is in full bloom and smells so sweet - so far the Santa Anna's have not blown the blooms away too early as they have done for the past 6 years. I love my patio.............home sweet home.
