Hello,
I'm Kimberly or otherwise known as KimmyAnn. I'm a beginner blogger who is about to travel to China to collect my beautiful adopted daughter who I've waited on w/ my husband, Tim for over 24 months now. I currently reside in Southern California but am a transplant from Arkansas - what a dichotomy :-). I'm a Registered Dental Hygienist by day - but in my spare time love to garden, cook with fresh herbs, scrapbook, dance w/ my ipod on or while the stereo is turned up HIGH, gab with my friends, and most of all smooch on my husband. I have been married for over 20 years, have no children.......yet, 2 kitties, 2 beta (fishies), one little sissy, loving parents, an amazing niece and nephew, and 3 beautiful God daughters. I have a wealth of friends from all over the country as well as here close by. I hope to hear from everyone of you!!
Life is in session..............................please attend!!

Val,
It's good to hear from you!! I haven't gotten anything in either email or snailmail regarding your number - but it is so good to hear from my Fairy Godmother (FGM). I really needed the practice anyhow on creating a site. You just got me of my "point of boot contact" and got me going. Now, it's an obsession! I love your site and am so curious now how to make this one fun and entertaining for all of my friends and family.
Hugs,
Kimberly
Laura (My person),
Yes, you did it!!! So glad you found your way in. Now, you have to come over one day and play w/ me on this site. You know so much more than I about computers.
Hugs,
yimu
pronounced (yur moo) I think in Mandarin is for Sister of Mother who is not yet married.
I'll try again..
xoxo

P.S.
You have to know if the sister you want a title for is older or younger than you to get the name correct. Birthorder is HUGE with the Chinese. Instead of all the nephews calling an uncle the Chinese equilvalent of "Uncle Bob", each might call him something different, based on who thier parent is in relation to said Uncle. It's a pain in the prat. Is Laura "Younger sister of mother" or what?
Val,
Laura is my "person" i.e. very special/close friend. Almost like a sister. She was wanting a special and different title. Maybe the mandarin term for Auntie. Good to hear from you. I never got any mail or number and thought you must have gotten your wings caught while fluttering out of a Denny's one late night.
People are going to think we've lost our ever lovin minds.....oh well..........let em :-)
Hugs,
Kimberly
P.S. We ck'd out a daycare today and then went to Babies R Us for MORE stuff: babygate, diaper bag for Daddy & to take w/ us to China, and seat protectors for both Daddy and Mommy carseats to sit on. It never ends!!
